Introduction
We created Spark AI for those moments of sudden inspiration that demand quick note-taking to ensure ideas aren’t lost. The goal of Spark AI is to help you capture more insights and details without spending much effort carefully crafting and editing lengthy texts.
Key features
- 🖊️ Magic edit. Freely dump your thoughts without worrying about grammar or organization. Spark AI continuously edits and rewrites your fuzzy ideas into beautiful, well-structured notes that are easy to read and understand
- 💡 AI inspirations. Spark AI will give real-time tips based on your note to help you expand your ideas, connect the dots from previous notes, or capture more comprehensive detail.
- Automatic organization. Spark AI will automatically tag your notes, extract important meta datas.
- No app download needed. Use your existing message app like Telegram to input, and saves to your existing notes app like Notion.
Getting started
Setting up Notion connection
Spark AI focuses on helping you capture ideas. We don’t store your notes because we believe you don't need yet another note-taking app. Instead, we save them to note-taking apps you already use and love. Currently, we support Notion, with more options coming soon.
To connect your Notion account, follow the on-screen prompts after signing up.
If you need to restart the setup process, simply type or tap /settings and tap
“Reconnect Notion”. Spark AI will automatically create a new database
for your Telegram notes in Notion. Please don't delete any properties defined in
the template.
If you decide to stop using Spark AI, you can unlink it from Notion by following these steps: Settings → My connections → Find Spark AI and click the “…” menu on the right → Disconnect account.
To switch to a different Notion account, type or tap /settings in the bot
menu, then select “Reconnect Notion”.
To reconnect to an existing database previously used by Spark AI, select the “Select pages to share with Spark AI” during the Notion authorization process, then choose the specific database you want to reconnect with Spark AI. Ensure you haven't renamed or removed any properties from the template we provided.

- Tap the "Start" button to begin, then follow the on-screen prompts.
Spark AI works best with short, frequent inputs. Feel free to send multiple messages as you brainstorm or capture ideas—you don’t need to wait for each response.
Please note that Spark AI currently can't be added to group chats.
Create a new note
Type or tap /done to save your note to Notion and start a new one. When you see
“✅...Send a message to start a new note:” your next message will create a fresh
note.
Magic edit
Continue adding content to your current note by sending new messages. There is no need to wait for the bot's response before sending updates.
Don't worry about grammar, logic, or organization—just jot down your random thoughts freely. Spark AI will rewrite your notes for you, seamlessly merging new input with existing content. It transforms your thoughts into well-structured, easy-to-read notes.
Spark AI will use a list format when it enhances readability and clarity.
Spark AI performs best with short bursts of text in English that you type in Telegram. While we'll save long texts and links you might paste from other sources, we won't edit them. There is no hard limit on note length.
When you're done, type or tap /done to save the note to Notion and begin a new
one.
Voice input
Send a voice message to the Spark AI bot in Telegram. Simply speak to record your note—don't worry about how you sound. The AI will transcribe your audio and create or update the note accordingly. As you speak, Spark AI will attempt to understand your topic based on your recent notes.
Inspire
AI inspiration
Spark AI offers inspiring tips to enhance your note's comprehensiveness and clarity, while sparking your creativity. These tips are purely informative—there is no need to respond or engage with them. Any text you input will be considered new note content.
Organize
Categories, tags, and metas experiment
Spark AI automatically generates categories, tags, and metadata for your notes after you save them to Notion.
These features are experimental. They aim to help you organize your notes faster, but might not be entirely accurate. Please review them before use.
Actions
Reminders, tasks, and agendas experiment
Spark AI will automatically extract reminders, tasks, and agendas from your note once you save it to Notion.
These features are experimental. They aim to help you organize your notes faster, but might not be entirely accurate. Please review them before use.
Please note that Spark AI doesn’t have the functionality to remind you, create tasks or save agenda for now. You need to do them manually.
Save notes
Save notes to Notion
When you're finished, type or tap /done to save your note to Notion and start a
new one. Spark AI doesn't automatically save notes to Notion, as you
might want to add more content to the same note. You need to explicitly use
/done to initiate the save.
Your notes will be saved to Notion within seconds after using /done.
Once a note is saved to Notion, you can't view or edit it in Telegram anymore. Instead, access and edit the note in the Notion database. Feel free to modify the note's content, properties, or even delete the note as you would normally in Notion. You could add new properties too, but be careful not to delete or rename default properties set up by Spark AI (”Note”, “Tags”, “Category” and “Meta”).
People have diverse note-taking needs and workflows. We suggest using the Notion database as an "Inbox" for your quick notes, and regularly process and move notes captured there to their final destinations or take actions.
For example, you might have a personal knowledge base in Notion, draft essays in Bear, a diary in Day One, work tasks in Things, and a family shopping list in Reminders... The ideas you capture with Spark AI could fit into any of these categories. By moving them to their appropriate destinations, you can process these notes into your existing workflow without the need to manage yet another note-taking app.
Other apps
Currently, Spark AI doesn't support integration with Apple Notes, Google Keep, Evernote, or other note-taking apps on iOS or Android devices.
